I am the Founder & CEO of Sayfty. I am an economist, a gender-equality activist and the founder of an Indian organization that educates and empowers young women and girls against gender-based violence. I am passionate about women and girls’ safety and advocate for their rights. I am a jack of all trades, and my current personal role is to be a brilliant mom, a role model to my 2-year-old daughter, Diya.

I am a big believer in balancing work and wellness in my life. Wellness means everything to me as it influences the quality of my work and personal life. If I am not mentally and physically balanced, I cannot function and give my 100% to my jobs at hand. Amongst other things, I strive to regularly workout and that could be a combination of yoga, walking, spinning, or jogging. I also meditate on and off and use photography to relieve my stress. I believe our body is our one and only vehicle for life and if we don’t take care of it, nurture it, feed it feel and listen to it, not only will it malfunction, it will impact everything we do (or not do) in our lives. So, we have to take good care of it both mentally and physically. For now, my biggest motivation for health and wellness is my 2-year-old daughter. I want to enjoy her and give her as much as I can and for that, I need to first take care of myself and my needs.
